Summary: This project will develop an easily scalable and massively paralleled multiplexed screening method by next generation sequencing with sample-specific combinatorial barcoded indexes, that detects both SARS-COV-2 viral gRNA content and the tested subject’s cellular transcriptional response to infection simultaneously and incorporates these data into a prognostic model of disease outcome.
